The Symposium

2020 Symposium Canceled

Congratulations to our 2020 Princeton Prize and certificate recipients. Your hard work and dedication are evident in your submissions, and we are very proud of your many accomplishments.

Princeton, like other universities across the world, is actively engaged in efforts to prepare for and mitigate the impacts from COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus. Regretfully, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Princeton Prize Symposium on Race scheduled for April 23-25. Celebrating your achievements is such a high point each year for Princeton University, and we will miss the opportunity to meet and celebrate you on campus this spring.

Please note that some regional committees are still reviewing applications, and more prize winners will be notified in the coming weeks. However, if you have already been notified that you are a Prize recipient, you will receive details through email on how to receive your award. Thank you for your patience and once again, congratulations to our award winners.

About the Symposium

The Symposium gives Prize recipients the opportunity to meet like-minded students from across the country and to engage in meaningful discussions about race and race relations. Winners will present their project to Princeton University students, alumni and also to fellow winners.
